Hope its the latest.

Also got to install Special Forces, Armoured Fury, and Euro Forces.

sometimes the patch might read from the registry and come back with the wrong version number.. you might have to edit the registry if u can't patch...

this is the latest patch for bf2: http://www.gamershell.com/download_50494.shtml

I managed to get it working by installing the 1.41 patch, then all the addons and then 1.41 again.

What can I say about 2142 and Battlefield 2? Rose tinted spectacles.

Sure they look quite nice at 1920 x 1080 and all the details turned up full and 8x antialiasing... but they dont play as well as bad company 1 or 2.

Shame really, I loved 2142 back in the day although I never really got into battlefield 2.

I've been thinking about some upgrades to my PC.
I had thought of 16GB of Ram, but my mobo will only take 8GB, so if I do want 16GB or more, it'd be a new mobo and CPU (8 Core :) ) and the ram @ £220
Then there's the HDD to think about, currently C: is 500GB and I was thinking of a solid state drive for windows only.

So it's time to start saving like mad.
I'll probably go for the SSD first, and try it in my PS3 first of course, I'd love to know how fast it could be.

Funny too how it took Intel and AMD 5 years just to catch up on the Cell.
