On another note, i am deffo getting Infamous 2, it looks pretty sweet - it's gone down the route of the protype game, a bit more gritty.

Now I only played prototype for about 15 minutes and didn't like it.

Time will tell.

LOL weird - I played Prototype after Infamous and preferred the grittier, more techie and more visceral approach. Plus the scale of destruction is far larger and it has gunships... I felt more mobile in Prototype too. And enjoyed killing US forces more than nameless hoodies.

Has anyone else played the demo today?

It definately looks like inFamous 1, but it's much smoother and faster. The sound is a little disappointing, the effects just need more meat, and there's no musical soundtrack at all to the demo.

But I am liking the new thrusters and car throwing, and the new powerups are cool too, like the tornado thingumy jig.

tried it last night after i played infamous 1, wow.

Much more improved, it's much faster, alot more action...destructable enviroments.. some awesome beasts, the powers are good, very fluid too.
Love the melee combat aswell, thought it was pretty sweet and "gritty".

Loved the telekenisis type power of chuckin stuff around, rockets... then u got the much more improved graphics, some AA which is much better than the first, the use of lighting is very noticeable, and very well done.

Yup, seems to be shaping up nice.

Then finally u get to used vortex..haha.. nice
I'm gunna go down the evil path first i think.

Well since the usa release date is today, i will expect the game tomorrow.

Thats all.
Distributors will ship to retailers a good week in advance if not more for big titles.

well i got this the other day and only played on it last night from about 1am till about 3am.

It's pretty decent, i spent a good hour in the user created content making my own missions.
It's easy enough, just a bit complicated at first because you have to learn the logic of the tools.. but not bad.
