I was thinkning the same thing but didn't want to say incase I'd missed something.

Well the history on this is alot of ksa players have clogged the servers up and make them lag along with japanese players.

A. because ea are reducing servers
B. These middle eastern countries are setting there ea profile to UK or a place in europe to end up on european servers.

This causes chronic lag and this guy added me, he's a decent player but i will have to delete him because they lag your games out, then his friends join him from arabia/ksa and all them areas and before you kknow where you are, you are walking through floors and stuff like this is happening...

i seem to be playing with the russians alot at the moment on my uk account whereas my son on his us account plays with the ksa mob

you know it never occured to me they could set their location as somewhere else in the world and be stuffed into our games, it makes so much sense now, i guess fewer people in the middle east have PS3s than us or not much PSN coverage so they set it to play with other regions so they can have fun

Why not just set it up so you play on the nearest available server based on your ping...

Just purchased BFBC2 and Vietnam for the PC.

WOW! looks absolutely fucking gorgeous.

Horrible to play though. Keyboard and mouse sucks ass. Funny too, I thought the same when I started with the joypad.



One day consoles will do this too. 1920x1080 and at this level of detail.

the only time ive noticed BFBC2s graphics being less than perfect is when your character holds up the gun to aim down sights and you see there fingers, they look like rubber fingers

other than that on console its acceptable, hell to me graphics are only part of the equation

It does look nice on my PC, and the framerate must be in the high 90's.
It's amazingly smooth.

In fact it's actually a little distracting.

Gameplay is king IMO. Nice graphics last but a moment when you go "oooh" then it's over. If the gameplay sucks you have long term problems.
