Is Battlefield Bad company 2 Vanilla or Vietnam dead?
There are some serious issues at the 'mo and have been for over a month now:
Near empty servers (appalling matchmaking)
Nasty glitches (PBR)
Stats not updating correctly
Not being able to mark the enemy
Overpowered AK47, underpowered RPG, Pathetic hit points on the huey.

All this and it seems that DICE are still on their Christmas Vacation and absolutely no update on the blog, forum or twitter.

So have DICE abandoned BFBC2 in favour of BF3.
If so, what do you think will happen with BF3, will they release addons and abandon that too?

Chris asked me to add theDAYWALKERTRON to his EA account, but of course it failed.
I had to request the addition from someone in EA, they helped out and now Chris is an official BF veteran and can play with the M! Girand.

Only problem is:
His veteran status number is now 15!!

The highest I've ever seen is mine at 6!

I would imagine so. The revenue from Vietnam has been reaped, and so it's onto the next big revenue stream: BF3.

BTW - I think the stats on Vietnam do update, they just don't display. I show 0 kills on all weapons, but I'm sure I've unlocked stars mid-game.

It's pretty piss poor considering this isn't exactly the first installment.

as we discussed the other night i dont actually think they will fix the bugs which is a damn shame if they just fixed them it would be spot on

having said that its still a good bit of DLC

It's taken 1 full week, but finally myself and Chris have managed to 100% all the trophies, and that includes Vietnam.

It was damned hard work too, due to the horrendous stats server status. Ironically, DICE are fixing the stats servers tomorrow.

It was hard work, but that was because the stat servers didn't record most of the time.

so then.....everybody given up on BC2 now?
can admit from time to time it does get dull, but still has its 'epic' moments!

excited as fuck for BF3, assume people will be back onit closer to the release of that to get a refresher course?

I'll be getting bf3 for pc though, also gone off bfbc2, been there done that sorta thing, nothing really to do in the game anymore.

i was enjoying a bit of fun with dazo this afternoon before work, well i say enjoying i think i spent more time dying in amusing and spectacular ways and dazo was laughing down the mic lol!

Aye it was a bit of fun yesterday.
I still play it Chris, and so does daywalker.
Mostly vietnam, and mostly rush. But occasionally we play BFBC2 rush and squad rush.

We are trying to 100% the insignias. I only need 3 to complete it.

i amusingly discovered yesterday i finally got the all bronze weapon pin! its been glitched for donkeys they must have fixed it!

yerrr don't blame you sy wanting to get BF3 on pc, especially when its the primary system 64 players online aswell......tempted to build a new pc. but moneys tight and saving atm as i might be moving to canada later this year.

@Daz and yorkyP, have to have a few games when were all on sometime , hopefully will be back at my house start of march time. been living at my gf's since i broke my hand and shadily using her ps3 when shes at work .
has abit of a strop when i play when shes around...damn!
