Gutted for your YLOD woes...can't help you there...

But with the code, you may have interpreted and 8 as a B or vice versa. That seems to be the common problem when this sort of thing happens.

Aww that sucks 007, time for a slim maybe :D

Or you could reflux the mobo.
There's a few video's on youtube that tell you how to do it.

I never thought that 8 would be B and vice versa. Let me reflux my board (tomorrow) and let see. The first time i've reflux my board, it lasts for a few months, 2nd time last only a few hours, I hope this time last up to a year :D

Cheers guys!! :)

Re-fluxing is about adding flux to the solder.

Just watch this:

Lies...it's about installing flux capacitors so your PS3 goes back in time when the BR drive hits 88,000rpm.

Oh sorry, I mention earlier was "reflux" but what I mean is "re-flow". I've re-flow my board twice already according to Gilksy's procedure and never tried refluxing, sorry again.

No problem 007, I just wanted to make sure you were aware of this new fix. No point going to all the trouble of heating up the mobo for a 1 hour fix.

LOL don't apologise m8. I made a stupid joke and everyone else knew what you meant.

P.S if you hadn't said, I wouldn't have known it was wrong :)

I tried to re-flow my board but this time it was unsuccessful. When I switch on my console, I don't see the YLOD light, but I can successfully load and eject a disc, there's no error beep codes or whatsoever. My controller seems to be functioning as well. The problem is, I see nothing on the screen. :TT_TT:

Ya not missing much anyway mate, i played 4 rounds of battlefield today where it ended up being one side dominating the other, made for a boring day, so.. i didn't play it after Lol.

With the clan i'm in right now, it's always us killin it and to be honest it's pretty boring at the mo.

i was disapointed with my revisit last night i played a few rounds of BF with dazzy and left out of frustration, some of my woes might be from not putting my new ps3 in a DMZ though.

the huey is fun but i still think its too fragile, i shot a chopper down with a 50cal in seconds, and being vunerable to small arms fire is not good i think, yes if you get a lucky shot and kill the pilot or gunners i have no problem.

i would like to know dices thinking behind it, are they saying the durablility of a AH-64 is quadruple that of the Huey? maybe this is true? or is it for the sake of making it easier to shoot people down?

i still maintain the difficulty in shooting people down on BFBC2 was just right, now its too easy, and im not moaning because im a crap pilot you guys know im pretty decent, if a tad attracted to wind turbines :XD

overall though still fun but maybe not worth nearly £10

The huey isn't to bad, but for the record gustav halling (lead designer) said the damage is bugged and they are working on fixes for huey and other things like the boat glitch and so on.

Theres one thing that is common in the huey map, the players who hold grudges against heli's in vanilla are all there firing at helis.... because it's to easy if the pilot is shit.. the amount of people i see from the ea forums in there trying to shoot you down is quite funny xD.

They still get pwned anyway...!

But as long as you don't go flying round like a mad man, you should be able to get some healthy points using the huey.

On a side note played isla innocentes last night with dazzy and killzone.. our score?

Symonator 8750
Killzone 8140
Dazzy 8600

my kills? 130/0 12 nemisis pins - lmfao!!!!!

blackhawk for the win!

I bought Vietnam tonight and had a few goes. I quite enjoyed it - it's like '43 without the planes kind of. The first game I joined kept cycling the same map about 6 times which was weird.
