Why are you so sure? BFMC on PS2 had server browser and you can still rent servers even today.

Quote from Kotaku:
Man, I gotta say "Generic Middle Eastern City #15654" gets really dull in a shooter. There are virtually infinite places on this earth for people to shoot at each other, but in these American games by American developers, we only imagine that we'd be shooting "rag heads" in their "rag head hovels." Anything else would be too politically sensitive because frankly the middle east is sorta on the bad side of Ameripol these days. I'm surprised DICE got away with using China so often in the last game, but frankly they don't have a whole lot of clout either.
Can you imagine, though, maybe some kind of firefight in in a shelled out modern London? Or a storming of Kyoto with a desperate defense by the shrinking JSDF? Or maybe a brutal war of attrition in rural India, as Pakistan finally gets up the gumption to go for it? How about a class relations breakdown as the national guard attempts to shut down an uprising of angry citizens in economically ravaged cities like Detroit or New Orleans.
So the real question then is: If these games are fantasy, then why should the politics concerning their location and presentation be real? Unless these games are intended as more than just games, but as de facto propaganda and jingoistic military recruiting tools.
Why not have Public vs Military in America or UK for that matter?
People have no choice, they have to play the SP to pick up unlocks as they work through the game, then the unlock appears in the multiplayer.

astro i think that looks pretty good.
But, there are going to be issues with players?
I guess 2 jets for each team, 1 attack heli for each team which means
4 players in the air from each team lol.
2 people in jets 2 in heli heli
I wonder if they are gunna make the map a bit smaller on console.

Am Sure this may of already been bought up!!
But am Pre Ordering this from Shopto
Strike at Karkand
Gulf of Oman
Sharqi Peninsula
Wake Island
Well!!!!!!
Strike at Karland was my Fav map of all time!!!
Gulf of oman was a good map, More so for Flying, on foot was a bit of a bitch to be honest!!
But i think they so could replace it with Dalian Plant
Now IMO that is one freaking good map for everyone!!!
Sharqi Peninsulam: Blood Bath if i remeber, and was that not the one where the chopper would spawn on the top of the building!!
Apart from the 32 Players that would wait up there!! it was a a proper close combat map!!
Wake Island FFS!!!! do i need to say anything!!!
Anyway for me with these maps it makes the game worth while!!!
I take it they have redeveloped the Maps for the 3.0 Destruction,
Just got a Flashback of Kubra Dam and Flying the Jet through the tube that runs through the Dam!! Epic man!!!!!
Funny to watch the Epic Fails try and fly through there!!!
This again was another good map
All in All actually thinking about it Pretty much all the maps where pretty Amazing in BF2
Oh and Special Forces!!!! Didnt think that much of the Maps!! but i think it was Worth it for
Flash Bangs,
Smoke Granades,
Zip Line
Grapple Hook
Ohhhh i wish we got giving them in the BF3 too
This is why i hate reading up and looking at stuff, now i have super high hopes on this game!!

pretty good video, and so the little robot is either bomb disposal or slow moving bomb itself!
