I think, given that Battlefield is kind of our core game, it should have it's own sub-forum in the FPS section.

Good idea? Bad idea?

Good idea.
I or someone can make a sub section easy.
Now to move it over is the hard one.

Do we.
A, mod it and manually move it over.
B, I can run a search query on the SQL to move everything over.
Problem with that, anything containing battlefield in subjects or posts will get moved

It's not a problem, just a little time consuming.
And time is something I have plenty of.

Emails when someone replies would be nice.
I know it's Christmas, but I'm not getting ALL the emails, and thats not the royal mails fault.
Is it a server problem, or has someone changed a setting in ACP?

Sitting on the forum for too long does cause problems for my laptop, takes about 5 minutes, but eventually it does oeverheat.

It was me, I've made a start, but there's 20 pages of topics to go through, and then theres the spam problem too.

Forum read/unread images.

dave can you get me these images please and I'll colour them a little better.

That yellow looks horrid, but I'll need them all.

If you want a different colour, fine, just keep the ORIGINALS as a backup, I dont keep backups.

So once these are installed they're permanent unless Dave has a copy of the orinigal template files.

Some teething problems with the blog to forum posting:

There is a whateverpost at the bottom of the posts, it doesn't need the bit, phpbb will do that for you.

youtube video's dont show a video or link, they just show the url and it's not clickable... FORUM ONLY, WP is fine.

once the post has been made to the forum... YOU CANNOT edit it all... it breaks the post badly.

Not sure what can be done about editing, but it's not important, just remember you CANNOT EDIT IT ON THE FORUM.

Babes in the gallery.

While it's nice to look at the ladies in the gallery, it's attracting a lot of attention, 100-200 hit's per day, and all there for the ladies.

Do we loose those hits by deleting the girls, and keep the attention focused on gaming.
Or keep the hit's rolling in?

It's a problem that's been around for a while, and I don't know why I'm bothering to mention it now really...

Most new posts are marked with a yellow icon, which is cool. It's obvious. But some (I don't know the condition - maybe new post on a sticky?) are marked white, which is really hard to discern against the natural grey of the icons.

Can this be changed? To the same yellow? Or blue or red or something?
