How to beat Summit: Insane solo

i used similar set up but practically the same, i like his slice n dice idea, saves on the harpoons because they aren't even needed on boss wave (harpoons) since theres no wyverns at that point.

I'm glad i got mine out the way, solo is the best way because u can clear a million of health, it's just when it doubles life and your defenses can't last out.

Also it might be worth as a huntress for the boss wave to switch to soul focuser and pump it all into poison, 30k dps through walls will help alot, where as i did it the harder way with a mediocre blasticus at the time.

Dungeon defenders.. damn good game too!

I might finish ranking my apprentice first, so those barriers hold out longer. He's the only one I need to get to 70...

I played two round a week or so ago,
Used all my controllers (Ended up with 6 Swords) 3 of what where profitable, With the other being a Sweeeeeeet 29!

Tried summit insane again last night - the crystal was being attacked within 30 seconds of the end of the boss cutscene with one of the solo bowling balls at the top gone.

The thing is, I don't even know what is killing it. It must be dragon fire because the towers were upgraded to a star and can withstand a lot of mob punishment.

Rage quit - fuck this game.

Give me a shout before the last level, I'll watch the defences while you take out the boss. Or vice versa.

It is the Dragon that Attacks the Towers.
You need One person Manning the Defence, And the other people attacking the Boss.

If one person runs around manning, He also takes alot of the hits from the Dragon, (Making the towers last longer)

Are you after it for the Pet? Or do you just want to complete it?

As per the the video above, I also installed magic blockades. These are then a target for the boss thus distracting it from the main defences.

I just want to complete it, but if it's the only way to get that pet, I guess I need that too.

I have magic barriers on the towers, Daz - 3 down either side (or maybe 4, I forget)
