How, exactly, is the internet worse for PS3 than PC? Please, educate us further, oh knowledgeable one...
Ooooh. Because SONY and Microsoft impose bandwidth limits on developers and on PC you can do whatever you want fucking troll.

KK I'm getting pissed of with your attitude at the 'mo.
Cool it.
I agree with Infinite, if they want to reduce bandwidth costs, just send the player directly to EA server.
Hopping from local, to PSN, to EA, and back again will increase pings too, again making traffic and gaming even worse.

Serious thats correct.......
That sounds sooo wrong, download stream and upload stream on par.
downloading stream 100%
Upload stream 10%
2mb connection, 200 KB/s download stream 20 KB/s upload steam
To support connections of 200 - 400 KB/s upload stream in the UK
your talking of connections of connections of 20mb to 40mb per person,
When we all know each ISP limits there upload speed even on the greater downloaded speed connections,
i.e. 50mb connection would not get to upload at 5000kb/s
if anything capped at 10000 kb/s
Upload coasts ISP's too much money!! sorry but them stats dont add up at all. Considering i was playing a 64 player map on BF2 on a 2MB connection back in the days, Data back and forth could not increase that much,
And before some idiot says well graphics have improved, i will slap you!!
Data uploaded and downloaded in BF2:
hit Counter
Ammo
GPS
Health
Basically any statistics that cannot be manipulated to give one a unfair advantage of god mode or unlimited ammo
So if your telling me this data has grown soo much so send back and forth over the years well i will eat my hat.
As a matter of fact i would be willing to install a PC copy of this game and get back into the hacking days and see really the content that is traveled back and forth, because i can tell you for sure, them figures are bullshit

So I'm expected to believe that Sony/M$ reserve 60% of users bandwidth for themselves am I? Just because your bumchums at Dice told you this? And it's not possible for a PC to be connected on a network with another device consuming the same amount as PSN/XBL requires?
Feel free to tweet Dice for more info you can mindlessly regurgitate. Or just crack out some more expletives. But I'm still inclined to believe that Dice just aren't that great at console development, and refuse to swallow their excuses quite as readily as you seem to want to.

There was this excellent article (or was it audio) I remember from my days on BC2 forums, from some other developer was banging on how tight the console limits were and what was involved to just make a simple online shooter. But I'd be fucked if I look it up for. You seem to be very happy with your own ignorance, we don't want to spoil that, do we?

OK, I'll just take your word for it then, and ignore Dave's point... Because I don't put much stock in Dave's opinion, but you obviously know how to regurgitate like the best of them. Plus, you haven't contradicted yourself whatsoever in this thread. No, sir.

just look at resistance 2 and MAG.
yes graphically they arent amazing (especially MAG), but enough said imo.
if people are going to start passing cheap digs constantly all the time, think im going to find myself a new forum.....just pisses me off. My advice to KK would be, "if you want to throw your toys out the pram, do it on the battlefield. theres a difference between heated debate and generally being a cunt!"
