So I'm playing par and we won, check the scoreboard...10 vs 4 no surprise here. Next round and the game decides to balance the teams...11 vs 3

these companies should spend more time on the back end of these games, network issues, matchmaking, etc

its all glossy up front but the longer you play it you really wonder what fucking monkeys dice are!

Your new to DICE games are'nt you Seddon?
You would have thought they'd learned from BF2, but no, they released BF2142, and they still did'nt learn, now we have Bad Company (it must be a punchline to a DICE Joke that one).
But yet here we are, several veterans among us, and we still buy their games.
Why? [rc]Because they freakin Rock,[/rc] buggy as hell, but brilliant multiplayer games.

i can't speak for their other games but i've had more fun with bfbc than all my other games put together

i think you might have said it dazbobaby that despite all its flaws and us moaning we still keep going back for more!

So what do you think about f2000 Seddon? I tried it on unranked and a bit on ranked...it runs out of bullets pretty fast :idduno

"Battlefield 2142 Demo has encountered an error and needs to close - Sorry for any inconvenience" .... Poxy game. All I can do is watch the opening movie, then it dies on me. Updated my direct X as instructed. Turned off firewall, anti-virus etc.. Tried re-installing. If I watch the opening movie one more time I will kill myself. What a fucking waste of 4 hours. This reminds me why I bought a PS3. PC games have never liked me. :shout AAAARRRRGGGHHHH !!!!!! :wall

trouble is, you can play that game for months, then you get ctd's and other program errors, and you cant play it again until you reinstall windows. No matter what you try and do, it wont work.
Eventually, I created a partition just for 2142, got it working, backed it up, and resinstalled just when it starts to g wrong.
It's also the the very same game that made me ditch PC gaming, because of all the problems.

i remember picking it up pre vet and it was great, perhaps it was just that game, i almost lasted half the match without dying with it

having unlocked it now i thought it held more bullets

its ok, need the right map for it

i still prefer the ump on specialist

double points with bullets and tracer!

i cant play mine either. crashes when i join a game. looks like it doesnt work on vista. you can still unlock the gun on the vet page on bfbc webs ite though. download not completely in vain

I only had problem with having no directX9 then everything was straight forward until some retard kicked me from the game, which I found impossible to play anyway. Maybe my graphics card on my laptop was shit but I wasn't impressed with BF2142, though I did have a lodger that had the full game and good spec and I still thought it was a bit lame.

Did you play titan mode? Or Conquest.
I prefered titans, man [rc]that could get very intense[/rc]

Well, tbh, I didn't even know how to move, while I was figuring this out the server owner kicked me out from the game...and essentially killed it for me. First impression is the strongest one.
