Well, this 3d technology called reald http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Real_D_Cinema is something. The picture is exceptionally clear and you cant compare it at all to shitty red/green glasses. I kept my glasses but I don't think I will need them and they provide them with all new 3d films and you just cant use it anywhere else (read wikipedia)
Shame really. This puts 3d game development behind as you need a special LCD matrix polarising your screen, which is not gonna happen, too big. It would require special type of LCD screen maybe, but this means new TV + glasses. Damn I thought we were close, BFBC would have looked stunning and the game play would just take your breath with the quality this 3d technology delivers.
Anyway, about the film. I spent first 15 minutes getting amazed at 3d than following the plot, an so is everyone else. But this is good, cos there is nothing to miss about it. The film is average horror movie spiced up with 3d, without 3d it would have been lame. Overall impression 6/10, and it is a fair score. However if you want 3d film, wait for a better film. There was one moment in this film I enjoyed, when
Hope I satisfied your curiosity Daz
