Just a little, he's apparently wanting to use ebay arbitration already, he hasn't even had it one day.

anyway, a continuation of the flow of emails.

From me:
I can assure you that before I sent it out it was working.
In fact just a couple of days before I advertised it on ebay I made a couple of youtube video's.

Both were captured on the PVR from a PS3.
I'm sorry that you are having problems getting it to work, all I can suggest is either contact hauppauge directly or use their excellent support forums at www.hauppauge.co.uk

From him:
Dear dazbobaby,

I got it from u m8 so a bit of help here and see
if we can get this work'n what windows did u set
it up on ? did it load right away ? i ant messing
around m8 i will take u all the way at 140 i wont
it to work if it dont u get it back .
From me:
I can't help you much at all, I'm no PC engineer.
I can tell you I had it working in windows XP and windows 7.

Maybe if you told me EXACTLY what the problem is I might be able to help.
Does it light up when you turn it on?
Does windows detect a new device when you plug it into the computer?
Have you installed the drivers? Did they install correctly?

- dazbobaby
His respense:
Dear dazbobaby,

well nor am i a pc engineer have tryed to load disc
on 3 dif pc's and still not getting any where with
it will let u now and if it is not working u will be
getting it back .
Another from me:
I quite clearly stated in the auction and the initial email that refunds and returns would not be accepted.
If you are unable to get it working then I would suggest the previous email and contact hauppauge, either directly via telephone or by the user forum.
I have proven beyond reasonable doubt that it was working before it was shipped.

- dazbobaby
His response:
Dear dazbobaby,

listen mr i ant getting in to this at mo i just want
the thing work'n i bought it from u as work'n it
is'n and i have rights .
My final reply:
You are not telling me whats wrong with, I'm no engineer, you're not an engineer, you're not even prepared to speak to the manufaturer or to use their website forum for help, so you'd better send it back.

- dazbobaby
His final reply:
Dear dazbobaby,

so if u buy a car from a ford garage and it
breaksdown do u take it to the maker or where u
bought it i have told u it IS NOT WORK'N i have
been on to ebay so will leav it for now let them
speek to u ok in mean time will have a pc guy
round to see what he thinks
So far I've heard nothing more from him or ebay. If the PC guy has been around, then I can only assume that it's now working.
But given his literary tallents, I can only assume he either has a very low IQ, or is only able to visit ebay.co.uk because of the small number of letters in the address.

You should send him back an apology - that £30 would have been much better spent on some fucking Peter and Jane learn to read and write books. Cretin. I bet he's got like 8 kids as well, cos people like him seem to flood the gene pool with their spawn...

Actually the max number of calls is much lower, I think it's 3 per week.
You need to sort this out Dave, they should not be forcing you to pay a refund without receiving the phone back, and any further costs should also not be enforcable.
Citizens Advice, trading standards, or small claims court. Write them one last email and tell them all further emails will be refered to a solicitor.
