[quote2="InfiniteStates"]Jesus guys, you love to hate Dice don't you?
What is the problem with '43? Mine works flawlessly, not counting the plane undercarriage. I've never been disconnected from a game, it's not laggy 95% of the time (admittedly I don't try using the squad system or comms), and I think it's frozen on me once.
It was a tenner, and I have definitely got my money's worth out of it and more. It is still the best dogfighting game I have on the system. Until next month. Hopefully.
And as for the PC release, I read somewhere, I think it was IGN, that they are delaying the PC release because it's the first game using the Frostbite engine on PC and they wanted to get right.
This makes huge sense as a business. They will basically get a small return on what is essentially R&D that a development studio would normally do unpaid.
Then once that is done, all future games using Frostbite can be built for all 3 platforms. That means they can release on an extra platform (probably their largest market share platform too) whenever a new game is ready, which suits marketing as well because they can market the game over more platforms under the same budget.
They're not trying to con us, they are just trying to operate their business in the most streamlined way in a fucked economic climate...
EDIT: first line sounded harsher than I meant :beaten:[/quote2]
You are right, I over reacted, (again)! but if the games were'nt so good, I would'nt be so frustrated at the bugs.
There's a lot going around...
Voip
Squads
Concrete bunkers dont protect you like they should
Disconections
terrain clipping
Private Matches
BUT...
As a Dev yourself, you have a right to feel protective about other Devs, but as a consumer, I have a right to complain about games being buggy.
That said, feel free to kick my arse again if you feel I'm wrong.
