This is excellent advice. Each map has a preferred weapon, but the heavy bolter works well on all of them (in fact it's pretty unique in that aspect).

As Dave says, make sure to find a nice spot and press R2 to deploy it. Preferably just behind a front line were assaults are going at it so you can just fire into the crowd.

If an assault comes after you (and they will eventually) you can still kill them, unless they a) land behind you and get hits in before you know they're there or b) have uber-perks.

Your worse enemy will be grenades and flashbangs. But even grenades you can take a couple of hits with armour perks.

yeah the fan dont work properly cuts out and then quickly overheats i can probably fix it actually but not for tonight, prolly need a new fan.

If u dc your mic in game, then reconnect it works, then cuts out (like the dcuo) issue - veery similar.

Rofl i had this last night!!
On the open Map where the bridge is in the middle.

I was on the Bridge at the bar end, I set it up and was clearing anything that come onto the bridge,
The same Assault guy Jumped ontop of me and attempted to kill me,
Took him 5 attempts, and on the 6th he got me.

Only because he hit me twice with a Grenada and weakended me shield and then finished me off with a Thump to the ground and a couple of swipes.

Still close to finishing him off, only has 7% health left lol

PMSL Someone has been dicking around with the XBox servers and now their version of the game is crashing left, right and centre trying to load into non-existent DLC maps. On the bright side (not that that is a dark side) - it seems there is scope for 10 DLC maps in 3 lots: 2 maps, then 2 lots of 4 maps. I'm guessing the 2 maps are for the imminent co-op DLC though, as that's known to have just 2 (initially).

Yeah, I'm up for it if I'm online. Dark Souls is out this week, so I best get some killing in before then...

But then, there's a good chance the co-op DLC is out this week or next... Definitely coming back for that. I'm hoping it allows weapon challenges to actually be completed, so I can finish off the platinum.
