1.28 patch going live today

Guerrilla Games has announced that it will release Killzone 2 Patch 1.28 on Tuesday, July 14 at 8am GMT.

The patch will be 91MB and the plan is to release the update worldwide simultaneously. While the update is rolled out you can expect an anticipated server downtime of about 2 hours.

The following fixes and features are included in this latest release:

- Code support for DLC pack III “Napalm & Cordite”. The update will enable players to create games with the newest maps “Suljeva Cliffside” and “Arctower Landing”
- Code support for DLC to allow the additions of the Flamethrower and the Boltgun to multiplayer.
– New trophies added for DLC pack III “Napalm and Cordite”.
- Detailed information screen when browsing games. Items displayed include: Friendly Fire, Faction Balancing, Custom Weapons and Custom Badges as well as the region, game size, selected maps and allowed Missions and Badges.

Well, I'm off work today (supposed to be working from home - which I will do, a bit) so may jump online in a bit.

Guy at work, his nephew has swine flu and is in a very bad way in hospital - so they sent me (only me) home from work because of my condition (poor immune system). Not sure when they are gonna want me back in. Work has had industrial cleaners in to spray the whole place down. - Rentokill for growdups.
