The horde survival game. Either I've just noticed the genre, or the genre is exploding thanks to Vampire Survivor.
Either way, I've discovered this game type and I'm loving it.

There's a guy on YouTube called DEX, I found him by YT just throwing him on my feed and he played Vampire Survivors. Since then I've bought half a dozen games he's played.
