on the tour we were taken to one of the most haunted streets in the town not that i believe in that rubbish, and we were told if we photo some of the areas around we may get strange effects on the cameras whoooooooo
well i found something more interesting an alarmingly bent street light. was like this when i found it honest....
but on to the shooting and here is me taking out 3 out of 4 targets, please note this is only my second go, on my first go i took out all of them
the instructor was saying to me "you got a bit cocky there didn't you son?" :lol:
and if you dont believe me here is the score card for the day with a piece of clay pigeon that my mate retrieved for good measure. The actual using of the shotgun was great, it was an over and under double barrel. i was told to not actually aim down the sights but to point the gun roughly where i wanted to shoot and aim just under the target. worked a treat only missed once! the second row of shots btw the way is a error by the staff, beginners luck i suppose! was surprised by how far the spent cartidges flew back, one landed on me arm.... HOT! the gun was very comfortable to use and it didnt hurt one bit, i took my time getting ready and putting it into my shoulder properly only hurt once when i didnt get it in properly
the last row of scores is for archery.....
we didnt even know we were getting archery and it was a nice surprise! aiming was pretty odd though, the instructer said dont aim down the arrow, but i couldnt help but do it! i just made it up as i went along, manged to get a 5 pointer in the middle of the target though, no evidence but the score sheet sadly
the fellow below is my Tom aka Tomcat who is much better looking and makes a more convincing looking bowman than the lumbering sight that is me...
