I've been down to blockbusters to grab a couple of bargains...
Red Alert 3 (Xbox) and Heavy Rain, obviously PS3.
I thought what the hell, I'll take a look at portal, and see what all the fuss is about.
I tried the portal 1 demo and enjoyed it, it's head bangingly complicated at times, but a brilliant puzzler non the less.
Portal 2 is turning out to be more of the same, but with the great humour that was also in Half Life 1 + 2.
So as an when PSN returns if anyone fancies a co-op let me know. It's also apparently an easy platinum, maybe a days work for a first play through.
Portal 2 - It's amazing

I haven't seen a cheap copy of RA3 for the PS3, the xbox was £12, just in my price bracket, and Heavy Rain was £15
As for L.A. Noire, probably not, I've got enough to be getting on with now if PSN doesn't return for a few more weeks.
Plus I'm saving up for Canada, I'm going to try and get there in the next month.
BTW, a girl at the local game called it La noyer! Fucking inbreeds.

Sounds like a rental to me - not that I've rented a game in my life...

Get the soundtrack for free:

And the album cover:

Valve is making the Portal 2 soundtrack available for free via the game's website.
Song To Test By will be released in three volumes, the first of which, featuring 22 tracks, is up for download now.
There are also a number of ringtones up for grabs on the site.
"Whether you're a mega-science corporation with decades of test experience, or a young start-up liberating your first test subject from non-testing with a chloroform-soaked rag, Aperture guarantees results," read a blog post on Thinkwithportals.
"Wake up your test subject, open the chamber door, and press play - let Aperture's patent-pending rhythmic compliance enhancers do the rest."
Alas, "Still Alive" writer Jonathan Coulton's contribution doesn't feature in Volume One. Here's hoping "Want You Gone" pops up in Volume Two.
