photo software?

Anyone know any good photo creating software?

I took lots of family pics yesterday and want to put them on dvd, but anyone know of any photo softwares which might create a decent title, effects and so on?

If not i can use sony vegas, but was looking for something more specialised in photos to make a presentation or some decent slideshow.

I am getting them printed at asda's digital thingy-bob kodak machine, but need to find something i can use for home discs.

googles picasa is pretty good and it's free.
You can create slideshow videos that can be recoded to DVD video. Different special effects, and the ability to upload slideshows to a website in HTML is also pretty damned good.

While not high end it's easy enough to use and good given the price.

thanks, i managed to sort it with a program from the net, just downloaded the crack to stop the trial
