I would imagine that would cause psychological fuckery - much like walking over a glass tank of sharks like in the London Aquarium. I wouldn't mind because I like heights, but I reckon I'd still feel uneasy...

I guess the question is, would you trust your life to American craftsmenship? Especially as the contract probably went to the lowest bidder. And it was probably built by some guy driving around in a pickup truck picking up illegal Mexican immigrant workers off street corners - you know, like you see in those Hollywood documentaries.
