well ive had my right middle ear full of shite for over a week now, fun its not been, im partially deaf which is not good, its impacting my life more than i thought
ive been on decongestants, antibiotics and now im on an ear spray from the doctors, ive been told there is no quick fix, the shite in my ear should drain down my eustachean tubes but isnt. however my body will apparently absorb the fluid eventually and it wont leave to permenant hearing damage, hard to believe at this point in time. apparently they cant drain it, which isnt strictly true they could pierce my eardrum which would be quite drastic and very painful right now id give my left testicle to have it drained its pissing me off so much

I used to have a similar problem when I rode bikes, I used earplugs because of the noise, and the earplugs caused an infection.
I was in agony, there was puss constantly leaking out, I thought it would clear up, in the end, I had to go to hospital 3 times a week for a month to have my ear cleaned.
I still get a lot of tinitus in that ear and it drives me round the bend.

i hate to sound harsh but im dissapointed with the NHS so far, i feel like im being put through the mill to see if its cheaper this way rather than just give me an instant fix which may cost more
joys of public health care i guess

You mean they can't afford to pay for it...why? Oh yeah. Because of all the freeloaders that come over under the pretense of a holiday only to "mysteriously" need some form of medical attention or to give birth while they're here. Coupled with the government pissing the ridiculous amounts of tax we're paying at the moment up the wall of over-charging Olympics contractors, bank bosses bonuses and their own interior decorating.Symonator wrote:You mean like how they are at the moment covering up swine flu? to save them a hefty bill like last year?
