There is only one redeeming feature, the new soundtrack has some great covers and some new tunes. The soundtrack is actually damned good.

Genuinely it has it's moments. But it's nothing that hasn't been seen or done a hundred times before, and better.
And why the hell does Hollywood insist on Jason Statham using an obviously fake and terrible American accent. Just let him use his own accent and give him a little back story to explain it.

The action was OK, I enjoyed the final boss fight though. There's something oddly satisfying about "killing" the South African, maybe it's about apartheid. It probably is.
It's worth a look, but certainly not worth a second viewing. But only watch it of there's nothing else to do.

As much as it pains me to say this, yes it's shit. It has some real comedy, some genuinely funny moments, but that's it. There's no heart, and the script is very childish.
I don't give one shit for the characters, except maybe for the bots. There's no real anger towards Stanley Tucci's character either. I don't care who wins or loses.
Just a really boring plain movie overall, so much potential wasted.
